The Charity Compliance Index (CCI) is a regulatory compliance supervisory framework administered by the Charity Compliance Institute. The CCI is designed according to non-profit best practices and regulatory standards, used across the charitable sector to evaluate compliance with corporate, tax and privacy laws, as well as CRA rules around charity operations and activities. As an approved CCI Ratings Provider, Non-Profit Ventures can provide a formal CCI Assessment Score to organizations directly, as well as existing donors and stakeholders for evaluation.
Privacy Practices and Policies Review (PPPR)
Non-profits operating in BC, Alberta and Québec are subject to provincial privacy laws requiring them to have a publicly available privacy policy outlining how they safeguard the personal information of donors, volunteers and beneficiaries.
